Official APCOA station parking on Wharf Road for rail users and visitors arriving on the seafront side of Penzance. A practical central option for longer stays close to the station and harbour.
Penzance Station Car Park is an APCOA-operated option on Wharf Road, on the seafront side of town and directly useful for rail passengers, harbour-side visits and longer stays away from the shopping core. APCOA lists 101 spaces, including five disabled bays and two motorcycle spaces, with CCTV and staff patrols. It is open for vehicle access around the clock, which makes it a more flexible option than a car park with restricted overnight access.
Check the tariff before travelling because the published daily rate changes with the season. APCOA currently distinguishes a winter tariff from 1 October to 31 March and a summer tariff from 1 April to 30 September, with a lower off-peak weekday option in winter. Payment can be made through APCOA Connect using location code 2151, or through ScanPay shown on the site signage; this is useful if you prefer to settle parking from your phone rather than queue at a machine.
For accessible parking, APCOA says Blue Badge holders must display their badge and register the vehicle through its Blue Badge Portal, even where parking is free. Motorcycles can use designated motorcycle bays without charge, but normal charges apply in a regular bay. For a train journey, allow time to park and check the platform arrangements; for a day in Penzance, this site is most convenient when the station and harbour are your priority rather than destinations uphill in the town centre.
