It sleeps four, with a king-size bedroom and a second room with bunk beds, making it a natural fit for a couple, a small family or guests combining a stay with classes or galleries around Newlyn.
The cottage has an open-plan living and kitchen-dining area, a bathroom with shower over the bath and a small enclosed courtyard with seating. Practical facilities include a washer-dryer, coffee machine, smart television and fast Wi-Fi; a travel cot, high chair and stair gate are also available. One small well-behaved dog can be accepted, but guests should discuss anything beyond that with the owner because the outdoor space is compact and adjoins a neighbouring path.
Its position is the main attraction: pubs, restaurants, shops and galleries are within walking distance, while both Mousehole and Penzance can be reached on foot along the coast in roughly half an hour. Drivers should not expect parking at the door on the narrow cobbled lane; the official guidance points guests to Newlyn Harbour car park, a very short walk away. Penzance station is around five to ten minutes by taxi, so the cottage can also work for a car-free west Cornwall break.
